Internship Opportunity: Programmes Development Intern (Remote)

At A Drop in the Ocean / Stagona, our interns are driven by a deep commitment to making a difference in the lives of displaced communities. We are currently looking for dedicated and inspiring individuals to join our team as a Programmes Development Intern.

You can apply if you are enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Postgraduate program, and if your university recognizes one of our four core program pillars as relevant to your internship. Independent candidates not affiliated with a university program are also welcome to apply.

Current Opening: We are looking for two Programmes Development Interns (Remote)

Work Tasks:

• Document Review and Development: Evaluate and enhance the Foundation document and Programme descriptions, ensuring clarity, coherence, and alignment with international best practices
• Strategic Content Support: Contribute to the development of key guidance materials, including the 'Research Direction' document, to support innovation and learning
• Training and Knowledge Sharing: Assist in the creation of onboarding and training materials that effectively connect foundational theory to field practice
• Programme and Operational Support: Provide flexible support across Programme activities and other priority areas as needed

Competences & Qualifications:

• Be at least 21 years old
• Have a clean criminal record
• Commit for a minimum of three (3) months
• Hold or currently pursuing a degree in a University degree within social sciences, business management, relevant fiels. Relevant work experience within the field can compensate for lack of formal education
• Highly Proficient in the use of technology (computer literacy, Excel spreadsheets/ equations, Google Sheets/Docs, PowerPoint, MS Office)
• Eye for detail and flexibility
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Team player; comfortable working with others but also independently when required with minimal guidance.
• Strong knowledge and understanding of the refugee/humanitarian context in Greece. Willingness to learn about new developments.
• Fluency in English; Working knowledge of Greek can be considered as an advantage
• Adaptability; working in a dynamic and fast-changing environment, and efficiently adapting to changes
