We are excited to see that you are interested in volunteering with A Drop in the Ocean / Stagona in Greece!
We ask that you consider the information below prior to completing the registration form.

PLEASE FILL OUT THE REGISTRATION FORM IN ENGLISH AND AS THOROUGHLY AS POSSIBLE - INCOMPLETE APPLICATIONS WILL NOT BE PROCESSED.

To be considered as a volunteer in Greece you must:

  • Be over 23 years
  • Be available to volunteer for at least 7 weeks in  Athens.
  • Be available to volunteer for at least 4 weeks in Lesvos Project.
  • Have a clean criminal record
  • Have valid travel insurance

* We are currently looking for volunteers to join us starting in 20th of January in Athens

and from end of  February onwards in Lesvos.

Dråpen i Havet improves the daily lives of people forced to flee. We provide direct and immediate support inside and outside refugee camps and advocate to increase the attention on the situation for people forced to flee their homes. We distribute necessary items such as food, clothes, and hygiene items. We also provide non-formal education and activities to support psychosocial well-being and build a sense of community and belonging.
