Dråpen i Havet career site

A Drop in the Ocean has a Community Centre in collaboration with One Happy Family in the city center of Athens. The center offers a safer space in Victoria’s neighborhood, a focal point for the community and the population that wishes to integrate in the Greek society and find various kinds of assistance.

A Drop in the Ocean Athens offers Non-formal education to adults (18+) in English and Greek languages, in a curriculum combined with IT literacy, Job readiness and Soft Skills during a teaching cycle of 10 weeks, open to everybody in the neighborhood of Victoria.

We design our programs to be accommodating and flexible as not to exclude people unable to commit to formal education.

Dråpen i Havet improves the daily lives of people forced to flee. We provide direct and immediate support inside and outside refugee camps and advocate to increase the attention on the situation for people forced to flee their homes. We distribute necessary items such as food, clothes, and hygiene items. We also provide non-formal education and activities to support psychosocial well-being and build a sense of community and belonging.
